I’ve absolutely never understood this. These people care soooo much about their grip and forearm strength that they… do back exercises to train their forearms? Like dude, if you want big forearms, train your forearms.

Ok but on this topic, people treating the word of Arnold and other older bodybuilders like their word is gospel. YES they are some of the greats of bodybuilding and deserve all of the respect in the world, but we need to acknowledge that these guys did not have modern information available to them, and they are not experts. People will act like it’s blasphemous to say that your average person understands muscle growth more than Arnold, but it’s true.

Not saying he's right or that people should still follow his training. I'm saying that he didn't have the proper information available at the time.
