
If I feel really slow or gross one day. I still show up to the gym. I tell myself I’ll do whatever I feel like doing. If I want comfort and I just want to walk for the day, then I listen to my body and I do that. Sometimes I end up doing more anyhow. I just listen to my body & what I need.
Make sleep a priority. Good sleep = you’ll make better decisions & have enough energy throughout the day. Do this by going to bed around the same time every night so your body gets used to this. Make your gym routine fall in naturally with your life. Figure out one thing at a time instead of going all in & burning yourself out. I started out just walking in the treadmill for 1 hour - 1 hour & 30 minutes. I did this while I did my hw on my computer. (I found a good treadmill to set it up on)
I also started out stretching. I would stretch while doing my homework. If you don’t have hw. You could do your online errands or mind work. I obviously don’t do something productive every time. If I just want to listen to music and walk, I do that. If I’m in the mood for a show or movie while I walk, I do that.
