Biggest bulking/cutting would be to not take a bulk this far lol. I don’t think there’s any reason for your bulk/cut weights to vary by more than like, 20 pounds max. 75 pounds is close to a year’s worth of weight to lose. You’re here now tho, so lots of whole foods to keep you satiated, (fruits, veggies, potatoes, etc) high protein, and just be prepared to be a little bit hungry.
I know nothing about this but the comments seem slightly unencouraging; so eat lots of low calorie protein beef and walk when u wake up and drink warm water with lemon it aids in digestions on a empty stomach first thing in the morning. And keep going to the gym. YOU CAN DO IT , be consistent and don’t loose confidence.
Genuine question, and I’m not trying to be a dick I promise, but if you’re 250, and long term you want to be 200, why would you go on a bulk? The point of a bulk is to provide you with more mass and energy to build muscle, but if you have a good amount of excess bodyfat, that’s all the energy you’ll need. Bulking when you have excess bodyfat is essentially just putting on fat for no benefit.
I really felt like I lacked muscle and the “bulk” was pretty much me making myself feel better about it while I was gaining weight during football honestly. (I’m a college fb player.) However, i’ve graduated and need to shed the weight now because outside of football I hate being this large. So I really want to cut down as soon as possible
Ah I gotcha. So just to not sugarcoat it, the fastest you’re going to realistically lose 75 pounds is about 6 months of consistent, uninterrupted cutting, and even then that’s pretty ambitious, might be more realistic in 7-8 months. It’s just about tracking your calories and being strict with yourself.
