What bicep exercises don’t suck? Straight bar curls, cable curls, preacher curls all suck to do. Hammer curls are ok

Underhand lat pull down with a close grip (keep your hands close together on the bar). Mike mentzer approved

Preachers are great. Chin-ups (palms facing you) are a great bicep exercise.

Hammers aren’t a bicep exercise

Changing up the rep range and pushing your sets harder may change your opinion. I used to dislike training biceps until I started training them with really high intensity

What’s the particular issue you’re having with bicep exercises that make them suck?

Brachioradialis, one of your forearm muscles. A supinated grip is going to make elbow flexion utilize your biceps primarily, while a neutral or pronated grip is going to utilize the brachioradialis primarily. All elbow flexor muscles will be active to some extent during any kind of elbow flexion, so your biceps will be doing a little bit during a hammer curl, but you shouldn’t consider it a bicep exercise

Which exercises do you find fun? It’ll be easier to narrow down how to make bicep exercises fun from there. Bicep curls used to be my favorite for a while lol

I like most leg and push exercises lol I just dislike most pull exercises. Probably cuz I have bad grip strength

I get you on the grip strength part. I have that issue with deadlifts. Maybe you could try doing certain push up variations that target the biceps more. Or going for lower weight on your curls but higher reps.

preachers are great, chin-ups are a little iffy, no reason to be including your back in a bicep movement

Probably not the best best but it’s a good compound movement overall for bicep forearm and lats. I usually do that and then some bicep curls to further isolate the bicep

This sounds so much better than assist chin-ups
