I’m having extreme back pain and nothing is working. Any tips on how I stretch out my back?

Chiropractor. Probably a medical issue if it's more intense than a bad sleeping night

Are you sure it's muscular? Stretching might not be the move if it's not

Yeah tbh I saw a chiro and he barely even cracked me, instead he gave me legit 50 different stretches to do

How's the pain 1-10 when you're not moving? What types of motions trigger it to rise and what's that pain level?

So just sitting or lying on your back you're in pain? Was there a direct cause of injury and what was the pain level then?

Since you said nothing is working I'm assuming it's persistent and the pain still present when you're not doing anything sounds like it's not muscular and more likely a disc or ligament. There's not a ton you can do at home for those types of injuries except take ibuprofen and minimize activity...

Stretches are the best thing for long term pain relief, as annoying as it can be to set alarms every hour to get up and do them. Stretches are what got me back to lifting without repeating the injury
