If I have AirPods in for more than half an hour I start to disconnect from whatever I’m doing and become confused because I cannot hear a damn thing and get a headache. Side note though: it’s so annoying to ask someone 5 times if it is their last set just because they are absolutely blasting music in their ears. Ppl need to get a grip
I literally go to a private gym, there’s 3 people in here including me… I think I would know if someone wanted a set. Also just because YOU can’t focus with airpods doesn’t mean I can’t. I listen to audiobooks, podcasts, or music, because it keeps me engaged and less focused on how long i’ve been at the gym. Stop being judgmental of what people use as motivation. Obviously I’m still here, I can workout without airpods tf
I use the word shout to represent the noise level at which I am required to speak when getting the attention of someone playing music in their ears at near maximum volume (can hear the music 5 - 10ft away). Not literally shouting but speaking loud enough to be heard by anyone in that half of the gym.
Yeah I really didn’t mean to have anyone react the way they did. I still think OP is on one because they immediately jumped at me and tried to make me out to be a jerk with really no cause. I think they were personally offended by my comments because they feel like I was specifically attacking them.
because your comment was very unnecessary.. it was judgmental because you acted like I said I wasn’t going to workout since they were dead. People wear airpods in the gym for various reasons whether you like it or understand it doesn’t matter, you didn’t have to make your comment. That’s why you got the response from me that you did, and I STILL acknowledged afterwards that it was your wording. Idc how you feel at the point about my response
God forbid someone does whatever they need to do to make their gym experience more enjoyable, atleast they’re in there. As I said everyone has different reasons for doing what they do, they don’t need your judgement. Like I said, you’re not better because you don’t listen to loud music in the gym
Never said I’m better than anyone. I find it hard to believe that is the only or true implication of what I said as well. I have a reason as to why I cannot wear AirPods and related my experience with AirPods so my perspective was clear. I think you are someone who thinks they are better than others and so you are projecting that onto random comments online. You went and replied to every single comment on here. Are you vying for attention?
You’re literally the one saying people need to get a grip for doing something that you don’t… that’s insinuating that your method is better than theirs. Anyway, me me responding to people’s comments on my post means i’m searching for attention? You’ve responded to all of my comments so you must be desperate for mine.
What you say doesn’t change my point. I am searching for your attention yes. I want to get my point across. And you are also searching for even more attention. I said get a grip in reference to those that are literally damaging their hearing “because that’s what makes them comfortable”. I say the same thing towards people partaking in other unhealthy habits which are scientifically proven to damage your quality of life, rather than promote destructive behavior.
Listen my brother is autistic, I understand why you feel and express yourself the way you do. I literally said 40 minutes ago that I understand and agree with you but your wording read differently. You continued afterwards to call me a tweaker and then proceeded to say i’m dying for attention for responding to everyone. Your communication style is differently but you continued to provoke me after I ended it. That’s what I don’t like.
Im the sort of person to get caught up in this sort of talk, if you don’t want to talk about it or it irritates you then ignore it. I think I’ve already made a good point in a few previous comments however there is no way in the world to get that point across, atp. so it’s water under the bridge alright ✌️
