Help. I workout 5 days a week cardio abs and lift. Eat the same things everyday in a deficit. I am leaning out for sure but my stomach is huge. Not bloated pure fat. Ik I can be drinking more water but besides that what’s going on? Cals too low maybe?

Sometimes it just takes time and everyone is different but a lot of times, belly fat is harder to lose and ends up being one of the last things. You can’t target fat loss so working abs, while getting them stronger and growing their size, wouldn’t reduce the belly fat. Keep on working tho and once you lose the weight, your hard work will be seen. Strength and health isn’t about looks but feeling good. Don’t give up

It’s been a year I’ve lost like 40 lbs but I was never really “big” just had fat over my muscles and now that I’ve lost a lot of weight my muscles aren’t showing as much and I’m just fluffy even though I work so hard

I’ve been eating 17-1800 cals for the last couple months and I didn’t realize my maintenance is 2500 so I’m wondering if I should start eating 2100

That much of a deficit shouldn’t be too much of an issue, you just need to make sure you’re getting enough protein. That and maybe you could take a maintenance break

Do you think I should go up to 2100 instead of what I’m doing rn at 1800
