okay quick question: recently switched to myfitnesspal for track my intake, and it’s telling me i’m in ~900 calorie deficit with a workout. is this fine? or should i eat more lol.

Ignore my fitness pal when it comes to calories burned in a weight lifting session. It gaslights you hella making you think you burned 1000 calories and then your body naturally burns an extra 2k. Just try and hit your deficit goal from calorie tracking, anything burnt from cardio/weightlifting is just a bonus

okay. just wanted to make sure because i eat about 2900 calories a day with my bmr being 2400. i get about 10-15k steps a day and workout 5-6 times a week to stay in a deficit. i’ve been on a weight loss journey since december of 2023 with the occasional refeed, so i know most all i need but i wanted to verify. thanks
