That definitely works, another trick is eating large volumes of low calorie dense foods like vegetables, some fruits, lean meats, etc so you feel full but you’re not actually eating many calories

mmm i love vegetables but my doctor said i should stray away from fruits if i can.

Yeah fruits in excess can definitely be problematic bc of the sugar content but fruits like avacados and cantaloupe are much lower in sugar and calories
