What exercises should I avoid as a girl with broad shoulders? I feel like being an athlete as a kid/teen influenced my frame and I hate it, I like working upper body but don’t want to if it will make me broader
I tell my boyfriend this all the time and he told me you literally can’t get bulky unless you eat the diet and do very heavy lifting. You basically have to have that as your goal to achieve that look. I’m thinking of trying Pilates.

I also think focusing a lot on lower body can give the appearance of narrower shoulders

wish i could upvote this a hundred times definitely but solution to this. don’t neglect upper tho for general health purposes.
