how do you guys stop yourselves from eating? i know people say don’t restrict but that’s my whole issue

the point is to not stop yourself from eating but rather eat meals that actually satiate you enough to not need to snack between them, and if you can’t help yourself from eating past full you may want to talk to someone about that

If your meals are more nutrient dense and you’re well hydrated, you will feel less hungry and have less cravings.

Surround your meals around protein. Meat, split peas, beans, mix it in mederteranian bowls

Just have self control and don’t eat past your designated calories. It’s much easier to lose weight than it is to gain it

it’s a never ending cycle. i’m sad bc i need to lose weight but when i get sad i eat for comfort. i have tried my best to stop myself. i deleted doordash, i don’t keep snacks in my room. but i still eat like it’s so hard to stop

i make it a goal to have at least one fruit or vegetable in every meal so i do try to have more nutrients

I’m the same way. You must find better foods to comfort you. (You also don’t need to eliminate all unhealthy ones) I used ai to figure out some healthy foods I can use for comfort…. Teas, zero sugar soda, olipop, zero sugar candy, homemade bread instead of store bought, sweet potato, snack platter full of fruits like kiwi, mango(i like frozen mango), grapes, berries, carrots, celery. Just whatever you’d like on your platter. I also ALWAYS eat to sustain & fuel myself before I snack. So…

… so I eat protein, fiber, & healthy fats before I go in for carbs and anything to snack on. So focus on hitting your protein, fiber, & healthy fat goals before moving on to snacking.
