Hi! Anyone have any tips for truly starting the gym from scratch? I have no muscle strength and some excess fat but I really want to get serious about my gym journey/eating! I am 5’3 and 135 pounds and at a healthy average weight
just go and get started. you will figure out what you like and what works for you as you spend more time in the gym. there are resources on tiktok and youtube to help you with form and stuff if you need or ask a friend or someone in the gym if you need help

first get down on paper what you want you schedule and routine to look like. when you are in the gym, don’t be afraid to ask for advice or tips for certain exercises, everyone’s been there and will be happy to help you out
