People will always try and find the path of least resistance so since they’re marketed as a safer, harder to detect alternative to steroids they’re bound to be popular.

Tho the marketing claims are unproven, sports testing agencies are starting to wise up and figure out how to test for them and most of them are unregulated chemicals that are sold “for research” or “not for human consumption” and even if they work as claim they still fuck up your homeostasis and best case scenario is after quitting you have an adjustment period where you feel like shit while your body realizes it needs to make the hormones again and worst is you become dependent permanently
