All good everyone is different and there are ways to calculate how much calories should be ate both in calorie deficit and bulk based on your bw . I have been through it all for the past decade too much too little. Binge starve etc. I will say too low of calories can potentially crash a metabolism and then you hold on to whatever calories you get and also water weight.
