Look up undulating periodization, it’s more about not completely frying your cns and giving adequate rest for your strength days
I’d say focus on working whatever your biggest weakness is rn or safely increasing your work capacity
i just want to run and be athletic again
Start with low impact swimming or bike to warm up on your lifting days, do intervals and long distance in your rest days
Avoid the treadmills but the stair master can be good on non leg day, depends on the intensity you think you’ll be ready for
i walk on the treadmill after my workout and i can go like 50 mins
