what easy foods / recipes should I follow to lose a bit of weight over the summer while working out everyday? also what cardio options are best for this but also being friendly towards an ACL recovery where I cannot run or jump for a little while?
you will hate this but. any variation of chicken and rice. I like to do buffalo chicken and banza Mac n cheese sometimes too, it’s very good

dude I’ve been having tuna w some pickle juice and seasoning with either pasta or rice mixed in it takes like 2 mins to make and it’s fantastic

for cardio you should start swimming! super easy on the knees and burns a TON of calories, especially when you’re just starting out

stairmaster is great but def tough on the knees for someone recovering from acl injury like op. personally i enjoy swimming more bc you can stay cooler in the water and also its a full body workout instead of just the lower half

I actually can’t swim for months still but I’m allowed to do stair master just not fast. Thanks for the rec tho! Definitely will be swimming once able to just can’t yet🥲
