Unrelated but I really hate how social media almost never talks about the numerous risks of steroids. Almost no one on it speaks about it

Well, there are definitely some risks but anabolic steroids are less dangerous than alcohol, but abuse of anything is a problem

I think the dependence is the worst part. My buddy hopped on and then decided he wanted to quit and had crazy withdrawal symptoms. Anxiety, depression, no energy, an ED, etc. I don’t compete so I don’t really see the point of them, but that’s just me.

I understand that but no one talks about just how risky this is, and the crazy part is that most PED users don’t even look like they’re on it

This is simply not true, the popular image everyone shows was posted by a BLOG who got their sources from a 2010 study which is no longer accessible

Alcohol can cause the liver to produce acetaldehyde, which is irreparable, but anabolic steroids are not known to do that, not saying they won’t, cause I’m not a doctor but they are not yet known to

Exactly and that’s the problem, we basically know almost nothing about drugs like tren (was literally invented for animals) and most ped users stack multiple compounds together

Oh i definitely wouldn’t take tren cause it was indeed created for beef stock, but in general PEDs are safer.

I don’t agree and this is such a nuanced argument

He probably should have done some sort of post cycle treatment to mitigate the effects of coming off. His test most likely tanked and took a while to come back up on its own. Some people can quit them cold turkey and not feel a thing but others have this experience.
