Any guys have tips for at home workouts to prep yourself before getting a membership?

All sorts of bodyweight workouts you can do, start pretty simple just trying to hit certain muscle groups. Resistance bands make a lot more possible at home too. Youtube has lots of planned workouts for certain muscle groups.

Push-up/pull-up variations and running.

I would recommend just going to the gym though, people are too vain to notice you anyways. The ones that do notice are almost always super nice and supportive.

Wall-sits and bodyweight presses are pretty good for legs, as well as most core exercises (planks, sit-ups, etc) being good for abs.
