I rarely bench with the bar since I prefer dbs. But the last time I did it a couple weeks ago I did 100 pounds (27.5 on each side) for like 6 reps. On dbs I can do 45s for 7 reps

Whatever the highest you could rep last chest day was, start with a set 5 pounds under, then do a set at that weight, and then a set 5 pounds higher. You shouldn’t be able to finish the third set at first. When you are able to, move all three sets up five pounds
