I deadass need bulking tips for a broke college student (6’, fast metabolism, 170 pounds skinny fat), I literally went from 187 pounds to 175 pounds this summer because I’ve been eating less when I got home from college, I go back in a month 😭

Olive oil on food where the flavor works is an easy option. I’d say assess if you’re progressing your lifts without issue though. Because if your lifts are going up, you’re growing without a problem, so why just add bodyfat for the sake of it right?

If even you're saying you're fat, then you definitely don't need to bulk

I mean yeah, that doesn’t sound like you’d wanna add calories at your current build if your strength is going up no problem.

Fat*. Skinny fat isn't a real thing

skinny fat people aren’t fat, they just lack muscle. Everyone has fat, being “fat” means you have excessive fat on your body. That’s not what skinny fat is.

Skinny fat just means they have a small frame filled with a lot of fat. Still fat. They just also have no muscle.

Definitely my case. I’m gonna keep eating as much as I can because I’m really starting to fill up with muscle. Still a long journey until I’m happy with my measurements before I’m ready to cut.

In both cases, bulking and getting fatter is not the smart option
