Been consistent with the gym for almost 2 weeks now. Only drinking water, month without soda, 3 months sober. Never felt better. Still working on what’s best for me at the gym, but I’m slowly getting a handle on things. Would love any type of advice! 🙌🏻

Discipline isn’t going to the gym, it isn’t dieting, it isn’t any of the gimmicks people will throw out there. At the end of the day discipline is doing the things that need to be done when you want to do them the least. Despite external circumstance, you continue to do what you said you would no matter what. Sorry not trying to lecture. This is something that keeps me going daily. When you feel like you have nothing left, give everything you got. Keep going my friend. We’re going to make it.

Sleep is I think the most important component in building muscle. Sleep is commonly underestimated as a factor in muscle building and recovery. Def focus on getting a lot of sleep. It’ll help in general too for mental and physical health.

Honestly just keep doing what you’re doing! Always make sure you go on the days that you don’t wanna go. You got this!

Just a few things. Sleep is the best muscle builder, get at least 8 hours a night. It’s okay to eat unhealthy things in moderation, as long as you’re staying committed it’s okay to enjoy a treat every so often. Most importantly, just do you. It’s always good to hear outside opinions, but if something works for you, don’t try to fix what ain’t broke!

I think you’re already doing better than like 95+% of people, and you seem to have a good mindset too. I think the big thing is that you’re seeing that this kind of lifestyle FEELS better. You have the motivation and the comparison point now which is huge. Find your moderation and balance (because the fitness influencers who do everything right is simply not sustainable for the average person), and keep doing it for you and not for anyone else (like vanity or whatever). Keep killing it!

For me, working out consistently led to church, reading books and so many other “mental trainings”. If you ever feel the need to start, just know it’s all apart of the process

I’ve been drinking only water for 4 months now, I’ve been clocking 10-20 thousand steps a day for 4 months now, I’ve been eating healthy consistently for about 3 weeks now. (Been very off and on about that) I’m about to start going to the gym 3 day a week. We’re all gonna make it guys

Definitely one of my struggles, but I understand how important it is. Thanks for drilling it in!

6 days a week! Some days I’ll go twice a day, rotate, so they’re each getting 24 hours.
