What is mind-muscle connection, actually? I’ve never heard a good answer and I definitely don’t think I’ve ever felt it

Being able to feel the muscle your targeting. It's not really important at all

It’s being able to focus on the muscle you’re targeting during a workout. I think a great example of this is pull-ups/pulldowns and growing your lats enough to feel them stretch and flex specifically while you’re doing the workout. It helps you target and work the muscle because of the mind-muscle connection, focusing on it mentally and physically.

If you have a gym partner have them tap/touch the muscle you are wanting to work and really focus on feeling that muscle through the exercise. It’s not about speed or lifting super heavy but about really isolating those muscles to build strength

It’s mostly a scam people use as an excuse for why they don’t lift heavy weight (they hate hard work)
