Gagh this might be an unpopular opinion but I feel like a lotta fitness ppl are making people afraid of fatigue. Like “oh 4 sets of 12 reps is gonna ruin your recovery”. Yes u wanna prioritize recovery but that comes from eating good, getting enough sleep

It might be misinterpreted by beginners, but once you reach a certain level, balancing fatigue and stimulus absolutely matters

And managing stress. But IN the gym, just push hard af. Human bodies aren’t fragile, we’re built to adapt & conquer

It is VERY hard to overtrain, most peeps are just under recovering

We're built to adapt and sustain ourselves. Not necessarily grow. Yes you can survive and feel ok after a ton of volume, but growing and getting stronger is a different adaptation than simple homeostasis
