Literally nothing. It’s an arbitrary group of people saying we are close to the end of the world on a massive time scale. It allows them to say seconds when they really mean decades, when in reality we have no idea how close we are to the end of the world. Notice how there’s da dip because of the Ukraine invasion, then notice that the Ukraine invasion hasn’t brought us closer to the end. It’s bullshit.

how can u say it hasn’t?? waging pointless war and polluting the atmosphere on a massive scale while eroding international trust seems pretty contributing to the end of the world to me
