this is true I think it has deviated from the point of being anti capitalist and now most of hip hop is very much on the lines of capitalism, I think that’s why it doesn’t feel original anymore

I think this applies to most mainstream music, the industry has been completely commercialized and there’s less room for artistic expression. We need a change overall
