Nah, I completely get that. I’m a guy but every time I think about hooking up with someone I always want more Y’know? Like, I don’t just want this experience to be a one night stand and they run off Y’know? I’m thinking of like, a FWB type relationship or a romantic relationship at most, because I want to get to know that person.

Yeah, honestly this is why I often say “casual hookups are cool, but the hookup culture isn’t”. I see the culture around hookups as dehumanizing and objectifying (which I guess also falls under dehumanizing so I’m kind of redundant. However casual hookups are great because you can maybe tell the person that you don’t want this to be a one time thing before you start, and casual hookups can always become something more which I like.
