How do I break up with the man I’ve been with for a LONGGGG time- he cheated on me a few months back and I stayed with him, if I bring it up I’m the problem yet I cant seem to leave please help. I don’t want to be with him but I also dont want to hurt him

Why are you so hesitant to hurt him when he had no problem hurting you? If he gets hurt that’s his own problem, the consequences of his own actions, and not your responsibility. You’re giving him so much compassion when he couldn’t even give you the bare minimum. You don’t deserve that treatment when there’s plenty of people who would cherish you and give you the world

Someone has to get hurt if someone leaves, you just have to take the leap of faith. You need to do what is best for your future. Also, he hurt you, he seems to not care at all.
