Iām on Hailey FE, I switched from the kyleena IUD. The first couple weeks were fine, but going into week 3&4 I was in a major slump. Like waking up wishing I didnāt and just couldnāt function more than going to work and going to sleep :/ getting the iud placed hurts, definitely have a driver if you go that route and be sure to take some tylonal or ibuprofen before you go! Extra strength if possible!
First of all, itās called a withdrawal bleed. I understand how you think theyāre not ārealā, but they are still an indicator you are not pregnant, and you will still be able to tell if something is wrong the same way your ānormalā period would. Secondly, birth control also helps a lot of women regulate their hormones; it affects everyone differently.
Iām pretty sure the mirena is 8 yrs. I didnāt lose much of the weight I gained (have not really been trying lol), but I have stayed pretty stable. My mental health has gotten better but I also feel like it may have made my ADHD worse, but that might just be me. Iāve been on it for about 8 months so idk š¤·āāļø
