I get tested before and after each partner and will ask for results from the last 2-3 weeks before having sex

as someone who’s had HSV-1 orally since I was a kid, this frustrates me as well. I was having urinary tract/bladder issues and my gyno’s nurse (who I don’t like) insisted we test for herpes even tho you literally cannot test positive most of the time without an outbreak.
