Hey so I have an IUD but I slept with my bf last night and he decided not to pull out…like we had agreed. Should I buy a plan B?? Or is that overkill? I also have PCOS and missed my last period so I doubt I’m very fertile but still

Why are we ignoring the fact that bf didn’t pull out when they agreed he would? Smack that man

IUDs aren’t 100% but they’re damn close. I’ve had one for like 3 years never pulled out and been good. IUDs are more reliable than condoms except the STD risk

Don’t buy a plan b there’s no need. An IUD is a really good form of birth control so you should be protected

Everyone is saying you have nothing to worry about but I’ve heard a lot of horror stories of people still getting pregnant with an iud, some not even knowing it until veryyy far along into the pregnancy. I know it’s rare but better safe than sorry in my opinion.

There’s never any reason to pull out with an IUD.

I def agree, if it makes you feel safer to take the plan b then do it! However, most people wouldn’t take a plan b after a condom and IUDs are over 99% effective whereas condoms are 85-98%. Only 100% is abstinence. Pulling out is between about 78-96% effective

Plan b is like 90ish% effective depending on how quickly and ofc where in your cycle you are

I have no claim to victimhood.
