
I haven’t taken it before so I’m not entirely sure, but the way my doctor described it was that it’s like a big, sudden rush of hormones that can leave you feeling like you’re going through menopause. I think it uses a similar hormone to progesterone which I’ve taken as a form of bc and period management except plan B is a larger dose
Ovulation happens about 2 weeks after the period ends. It’s different for everyone but that’s about the average. It delays ovulation so the sperm can die before ovulation occurs. It’s a waste of money though if shes about to start her period though bc you’re not fertile at that point. You should still use condoms to prevent STIs
Many reasons. One, it does nothing to prevent STDs. Two, it’s less effective than other forms of birth control. Three it’s expensive and therefore stupid. Four, and most importantly, you have already been told in this thread that it is a huge rush of hormones which is not good for women and can feel gross. So if you rely on plan B you are prioritizing your own pleasure and convenience over safety and the women’s comfort.
