that’s so true and it sucks that i feel like as soon as he thinks there’s 0 possibility of us getting together it’s gonna change our friendship even though we’ve been close friends for almost a year now, like he told me about his girl crushes and i told him about my guy crushes etc

I get it, trust me I’ve seen my friends friendships fall apart because of this. It’s a bittersweet scenario to let go of someone who you trusted but the plus is you no longer are with someone with an alter motive.
