I’ve been off campus this semester but I’m going back for a weekend and it’s gonna be the last time I’m probs gonna see a lot of my old hookups. Is it crazy that I have links planned with 5+ girls and wanna see all of them in the span of 2-3 days 😭

You still need to be careful there’s a lot of stds that they don’t/can’t test for in guys

Like what?😂. They can test for everything I’m pretty sure. Guys might just not have prevalent symptoms but they can still test.

The reason you don’t know this is why you should be careful. They can’t test for hpv which can literally cause cervical cancer in women. You can’t test for ureaplasma, at least in men it’s very hard to get an accurate test. Tests rarely include herpes, hiv, and syphillis, because you need a blood draw for those. Most basic std tests cover gonerreha and chlamidya and that’s it.

Well whenever you choose to get tested you can do both a pee and blood test. Herpes, HIV and Syphillis as well as different hepatitis infections are all tested for in a blood. I have never heard of urealplasma in my life before just now so fair enough, seems more like a uti tho. The only thing I know they don’t test for is herpes which is cause with herpes the symptoms are more apparent and you’d know.

I said hpv not hepatitis and it cannot be tested in men

So how do you know you have it if you’re a man. Or is it something men don’t typically get?

There’s just no test for it. There are sometimes signs in men but not for the strain that can cause cervical cancer. There is a vaccine that we usually get when we are 11 but it does not prevent against all strains.
