a couple years ago on my ex’s bday (bf at the time) we were in his room… in our bday suits… up 2 some bday activities… when we heard a knock at the door. our go-to was to act like we didn’t hear & then scramble to find clothes n then say “did sum1 knock?”

this time tho we couldn’t find our clothes in time. he found a shirt and pulled that on but i was still butt-booty naked by the time they knocked again. i yanked the blanket up to my neck and acted like i was sleeping & my ex had the blanket over his lap cuz all he had was a shirt. then the door opens & i heard him go “i’ll meet you in the kitchen, i’ll meet you in the kitchen” and i look in horror as his mom walks in carrying a slice of cake, singing happy birthday. continued in next comment

his little brothers followed behind his mom, also singing happy birthday. meanwhile i’m naked under the covers trying to act nonchalant and sleepy while having the blanket pulled up to my neck and so worried that they’ll want to sit on the bed or linger and his whole family is gonna see my birthday suit. they left after not too long but i think his mom knew what was going on

i’m sayinnnn. not the first time she walked in on me either! but she’s my favorite of my ex’s moms tho. she got me an encyclopedia of The Cure (they’re my fav band) for christmas

REAL. sometimes i think about messaging his mom about getting lunch tg but i don’t wanna seem desperate or weird. she did message me saying she was thinking of me on the anniversary of my mom’s death which was really sweet so maybe it’s worth reaching out…
