I never understand why people hurt animals. I have a sweet 20lb beagle mix and when he was still very much a puppy my dad grabbed him by the collar and threw him to the wall. He is luckily ok, and still LOVES my dad, but he doesn’t get left at home for more than a week (fought tooth and nail for him to come to college but it’s unavoidable at times)
