Having a roommate who’s like a step down from that is really nice though, always made me feel more motivated to try and keep the dorm really nice and clean through example

I’m talking about a shared apartment when I clean the common spaces all the time only to have them destroyed and grimy 5 minutes after my roomate comes home and when I ask them to clean they “clean” and don’t do anything or dishes being left in the sink for days and laundry being left in the washer wet for a week

It seems those ppl aren't respectful of taking care of the house you share but I'm talking about roommates that are neat freaks that require their roommates to clean up as often as they can. But their own messes don't bother them at all for some reason so it's just all so aggravating (legit me and my sister)
