I feel like people used water usage as a way to try to get leverage on AI hate. Now don’t get me wrong, I hate AI, but bc of the moral implications and bc of jobs and lack of creativity. I just feel like people for some reason weren’t hating AI enough for just those reasons, so we resorted to other reasons that more people could get behind.

It literally makes the problem significantly worse.

“Stop hating arsonists just because they burn people’s houses down, we’re already cooked because of burglars” maybe stop being complacent with the destruction of your world. This is how we got in this situation in the first place. You just don’t like feeling uncomfortable while others are speaking up.
