i'm not totally sure, i think it depends if theyre a right leaning independent or left leaning independent because i'm mostly basing my decisions on who i think will go against trump when he makes decisions that are genuinely stupid. people who will actually vote for what's good for their constituents rather than voting to stay within the good graces of the man

I had someone call me conservative and some not nice names because I said I don't align with either Dems or Reps (I quite literally don't, my perspective is almost always a midway point/compromise between the two)

personally i think midway between dems and republicans is a fairly conservative view depending on what you mean by that, policy wise democrats in this country are pretty tame, so it sort of depends what you mean by that. can you give an example of what kind of compromise positions you hold?

My example is I personally don't believe in abortion, as in I wouldn't get one, but getting rid of it entirely isn't the answer. It could have restrictions so it can't be used as a birth control, but use it in, like, r@pe or inc3st or life threatening type situations. Not restricted entirely but not available for random use
