‘Violent’ is a pretty mysterious leap, I haven’t gotten in a fight since I was six. & calling it misogyny sounds a little defeatist. You really think every woman on the planet has this level of commitment issues? I don’t. And I think urging reflection actually suggests a lot more faith in people than condemning it

No one said anything about the commitment issues, it’s just that you think women only want weddings and not marriages. If all the women youve dated “wanted” that then maybe that’s your sign that you’re a bitter man….

I didn’t have the character count for the obligatory “Not All Women” disclaimer but I thought it was pretty clear from the post this is a variable problem not everyone has (use of the word “if” for instance). I know plenty of women who expect to be with their husbands forever. But if you’re offended bc you think the shoe fits, that’s kinda on you. And make fun all you like, but I promise you, if your next boyfriend asks you to be his first wife, you‘ll very quickly 180 & see where Im coming from
