Tbh I think it only feels that way for us because we’re used to being treated better and now we have to understand what being treated equitably feels like. Autobiographies from women in the past actually relate a lot to how some men say feminism makes them feel today. I suggest “A Room of One’s Own” by Virginia Woolf (1929)
It’s why I consider myself a feminist for sure, but not part of “third wave” feminism I guess you could say. A lot of what the movement is used for now is just “men bad” posting, and then people acts surprised when it has negative connotations. Equality is and should always be the goal.
