The worst of American politics are those who don’t recognize their fellow man as equals (righties who hate immigrants and lefties who hate righties)

This is blatantly incorrect and forces people on the left to tolerate those who do not tolerate them. You are a hypocrite of extreme degree. It is impossible to tolerate something that inherently seeks to destroy the medium by which it exists. Selling H at the farmers’ market -> death & harm of customers -> no more market. Tolerating those who hate minorities and immigrants->suffering of minorities & immigrants ->no more representation->. Inaccurate democracy-> death of democracy.

American politics, light all western politics, is based on the idea that Westerners have the right to enslave and murder the Global South. As Césaire and Fanon pointed out, everything the Nazis did to europeans, the europeans and Americans did to the Global South

This centrist shit isn’t a hot take at all, it’s how we ended up with a Trump presidency in the first place. Go educate yourself on political science instead of political events. Loser ahh centrist

I would suggest you leave your suburban bubble and get out into the country. For those who are actually struggling to put food on the table it isn’t so simple. Folks genuinely want to love one another and disagreement is healthy, but at the end of the day most people care about themselves and their family before all others. If they believe one candidate will benefit their family more than benefit “everyone” people vote that way. It’s a very big country, talk to people from other places

Born in Hawaii, lived in DC, Alabama, and Texas. I know more about how the citizens of this country treat each other in different places than you ever will; I am at least 2x the traveler you are. With that being said you are wrong. You have never seen and heard how differently the people you’re praising react to you & someone who looks like me. I’m a 6’0 black man who speaks almost fluent Chinese; you have nowhere near as much information on this country as me you redneck. Stick to cornfields.

80% of people who voted for trump voted to be racist; we live in a world that despises social racism, so people engage in private racism. That racism, transphobia, homophobia etc, was the motivation for a trump vote. What else do you think a person from the country is even able to understand fully? People who’re struggling don’t care for politics unless it affects. Them. Trump supporters do not care about racism, they’re upset he’s making them poor.

I apologize for assuming, but your type of comment is usually from a certain demographic of person. I recognize I came off as hostile, I simply meant that people live all kinds of lifestyles and the generalizations you are making are not only unfactual the are unfair. I hope god finds you 🙏

“Certain demographic of person” you’re a joke. You sit here telling everyone to js get along, and you have never in your life researched what the problem is. Hating someone for their ideology will NEVER be equivalent to hating someone for existing. Do I feel bad for the south as it’s been manipulated to trade its culture for MAGA bs, sure I do. But my feelings do not change that those people want me dead, quite literally in a lot of cases.

Fun fact did you know you can still acknowledge people’s humanity and treat them with dignity without tolerating them or their harmful belief systems and actions?

Even when those people are committing crimes of hate against you? Even when those people are gentrifying your neighborhoods? Why do I have to respect a bigots right to be a bigot more than they have to respect my right to life.

Amerikkkan soldiers killed a million people in Iraq. They tortured and killed kids for fun. And in Amerikkka, these soldiers are considered “heroes” who “fought for freedom”. The West is an entire civilization that truly believes murder is right and decent.
