If you don't have religion then I feel like you need some sort of ethical theory or something 🤷🏻‍♂️ Either one works but I don't fully understand how people can have motivation to be a "good person" for no specific reason or without a clear definition of what a good person even is

Your parents.. teach you these things. 😐 not everyone learns kindness through religion. Personally, I didn’t. I was told to treat people with respect because that’s what you’re supposed to do. I personally don’t think people absolutely NEED to have a specific religion.

Yes, I do know that, but that isn’t how I was taught. I learned that years later in all honesty. I wasn’t raised to be dedicated to a religion, so I don’t believe in God or the Bible or anything.
