What document is a good source of truth on the values most muslims follow? I am asking for a document I could quote that has words that all muslims interpret literally? The reason I am asking is because I'd like to go read this source of truth and understand first hand what Islam is about

The Quran is considered immutable truth. Hadiths are more nebulous.
