Now of course this isn’t a bad thing if you are afraid of someone for good reason. Like if a girl is saying she is gay rather than let a strange man know she isn’t interested in him because of personal danger.

And there is grace when social anxiety is involved obviously, but like a huge part of getting over my social anxiety was realizing I was actually hurting people and my relationships by not being honest with them.

Oh a million things, part of it was my cousin secretly hating me for a year but not saying anything when she was upset and just building up resentment over something that was easily solvable
