Nobody owes anyone their attraction or relationship. Never understood why people would want to try and force people into pretending they find a certain kind of person attractive or date-worthy. As a fairly scrawny chick I would never want people to bully guys who like thick girls into “giving me a chance”. Everyone is entitled not to be attracted to/choose not to be with WHATEVER kind of person. Fat, black, skinny, small boobs, hairy, etc. It’s super weird to try and force this.
It's fine to have a type. You can't really control who you're attracted to, and you don't owe anyone your attraction. But I think also it's important to keep somewhat of an open mind. You should also remember that race isn't even a proven biological thing, it's a social construct that mostly exists for the purpose of racism. So if you make an abnormal amount of judgements based on race, regardless if you do anything harmful with those judgements, you are practicing a racist ideology.
No. There are valid reasons not to want to date someone of a different race. Whether it be cultural differences, not wanting to deal with social pressures, etc. A Mexican man not wanting to date me even if i’m his perfect match otherwise doesn’t make him racist, because as the other commenter said- I clearly WOULDNT be the perfect person for him if he doesn’t want a white girl (it makes sense if you remove your mind from the “every nuanced topic that touches race is racist” mindset).
