if you make a plan for us to do stuff and I show up on time but have to wait 20-30min for you, you suck. esp if the delay is bc you didn’t adequately prepare for the plans YOU made. you knew what we were doing. get a fucking grip

Especially when they don’t even text abt being late either. Then they get there and act shocked when you’re annoyed

I have a friend exactly like this and it is absolutely frustrating for anybody who is friends with her to make any plans 🫩 I am a very punctual individual so if I’m told a time, I will arrive by that time, but even when she makes the plans, she will be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours late so I’ve learned to just stay inside until an actual update happens

If it’s a reoccurring thing it’s different. I want to agree, but to me someone not being ready for our plans directly speaks to me “I don’t care about you.” But I get thats not entirely fair

It's just a communication thing. If you just tell them you're late it's not a big deal. If you're purposely leaving late and not saying anything that's whack

5-10min wouldn’t be a big deal. but being consistently half an hour late is a serious time management issue. for some stuff it really fucks w/ my scheduling. and for other things it puts undue pressure on me (like if we have a set time we need to be somewhere and now i’m stressing about being behind schedule bc of you)

i’ll get a “be there in a few” text which to me means <10min, but in reality she’ll take like 20min like?? ofc I’m irritated i waited like twice as long as I thought I had to
