in my experience most people don’t speak up because they already know how the other person will react and aren’t comfortable with confrontation. people pleasers also stay quiet and then blow up later

I just did this to my bf. People don’t always know it’s going to happen until it does, for some reason I had this idea that bc I’m not perfect myself, I don’t get to start an argument about things that bother me bc then I’d be a hypocrite. But then I yelled at him so now I know that wasn’t working :/

Had a similar experience with a roommate. Blew up at me ‘cause I said sum she didn’t like, & when I asked her to tell me what I said so we could set boundaries, she couldn’t say what it was. I cut that off shortly after. Full of drama w nothin to go off of.
