They’re a danmei author whose stories are all very dark and have graphic descriptions of sexual abuse. The issue I have however, is not the angst or the suffering or whatever, but the consistent pattern of sexual abuse in every single one of their stories. People say ‘it’s just fiction’ and it really is, but it really does get to a point. Just because it’s fiction, does that exclude the possibility of a healthy consensual relationship?
