second hand shopping is still pretty moral, so it small businesses, it’s more moral to shop at target and Walmart than SHEIN—so there’s affordable and convenient places to shop when you can’t be ethical. You could also make your own clothes, or swap clothes, or do anything but buy from Tiktok shop, SHEIN, temu, wish, romwe, or any other shops like it.
Shopping consciously is more important, only buying when you’re in need—“oh shit, I need a black plain shirt for work-temu will have to do” or “I need a new pair of work shoes, SHEIN it is” not buying just bc you want something or have the money to. That’s a larger lifestyle choice people don’t understand.
