People that are loud about their political beliefs but have never done research and only use info they see on social media apps. The inability to use critical thinking. America has gone crazy

Exactly. I’ve seen people on both sides of the spectrum who are clearly indoctrinated by consuming the same sources repeatedly and falling victim to an echo chamber that amplifies some voices (usually the mist extreme and uninformed) while silencing others (often more reasonable but don’t get the same engagements because they aren’t controversial enough)

as long as you’re checking multiple sources and not just listening to an echo chamber. If people are only telling you what you want to hear, You need to look at more sources. Make sure you’re watching from all sides of the argument

Usually watch meidas touch, david pakman, brian tyler cohen, luke beasley, adam mockler, and full footage of events like a trump interview whenever i think it’s relevant like his recent q&a on the national guard and marines in la

Avoid any political information you find on this app. 90% chance it’s blatantly false. 😂

Unless you’re doing a project or research paper NOBODY who’s normal fucking checks “sources” on YouTube videos to see how accurate the information is. Tell me the last time you checked the bio of the YouTube video and read through the sources to see how accurate they were

I was thinking more along the lines of press release videos. Videos of actual events. First hand experiences from real people. DO NOT TRUST 3RD PARTY SOURCES 😭🙏

Shit already makes me wanna kms, need trustworthy people to explain raw footage to me because I don’t keep up with a lot of names. Like who the hell is Rick Wilson

If you’re going to use 3rd party sources u have to first check first hand accounts of events. If you don’t understand, then go to MULTIPLE 3rd party sources. I understand that they are good for some context. If they contradict (they will) go back to the original 1st hand accounts and then make up ur own opinion. That is the correct way to use 3rd party sources. Do not just listen to what one person tells you.

True, the people I watch show relevant segments before talking further about it

Remember they can hand select those segments to fit their narrative!! Do not trust only what they show you. There may be more left out

This is why I follow both liberal and conservative social media accounts so I’m constantly exposed to differing viewpoints of the same issues or events, that way I can try to see if there’s any discrepancies and come to my own conclusions

True, but that doesn’t change who Trump is and what happens under his leadership. If it were any other president I would be more attuned to more well-rounded coverage if his fuck ups weren’t so frequent and significant
